Rash? Bacterial infection? Fungus?!

Question: I've had this spot on my back, that's felt numb and tingly for about 5 or so years now. just about a square in. or so, where my bra lays across my back. I always figured it had something to do with the hooks or snaps on my bra (I am allergic to nickel found in most cheap metal) or that my bra was too tight, cutting off circulation or something, didn't really think much of it. In the past year I had noticed that it started to become discolored, and keeps spreading and looks like like a large patch of freckles or a weird birthmark. up to the size of my hand. No red bumps, like normal rashes I get from bad jewelry etc. but occasionally it does itch. Last night I had my boyfriend wash and scrub it with antibacterial soap and quite a bit of came off, which I thought was really odd! It is still there, tingling, I haven't worn a bra in weeks!!! Please help!!! I have no idea what's going on!

Well, it could be the result of continual irritation or allergic response from the nickel allergy. I would not be happy to see the color change happen though. That's not a good thing to see skin do. You really ought to just make an appointment and see the doctor or dermatologist. It's possible if it's just an allergic reaction that you could get a topical cream to help sooth it, or it may be you need to part company with that particular patch of skin. I would think at the least, they would do a skin scrape or sample to have it looked at, and I think if it were me I'd ask for it to be done. Then you have the answer and a possible remedy.

fungal apply salycilyc acid

I am allergic to nickel also. Sometimes i find i get reactions from the hooks on my bra strap (at the back) and even hair clips. Is the rash sore and inflamed? or itchy?
Try getting some ointment from the chemist to try... if that doesn't help.... seek out a dermatologist

Chronic irritation from any source can cause skin cells to mutate, form a mole and become cancerous. GET IT CHECKED by a DERMATOLOGIST RIGHT AWAY!!!

Never allow freckles and color changes of the skin to go unchecked, EVER!!!
