Why can't i get my ears to pop?!
Question: ok i have a cold but its leaving. My ears feel like they are under water and i can't get them to pop. I have tried chewing gum and i can't hold my nose and make the pop because i am still congested

You probably have a lot of sinus pressure causing your ears to become filled with either fluid or air.Try applying warm compresses to your face and breathing inhalations of steam from a pot of water heated on the stove top.It should help
drain your sinus cavities and relieve the pressure.
you sound like you may have a build up of wax in you're ear canal. this is easily remedied by a visit to you're local GP. if it is he/she will simply syringe you're ears.the difference will be incredible.this is a non painful procedure
You basically just have to wait for it to go away. This happened to me the other day. Something you can do to relieve a bit of the pressure is tilt your head to the side and pour a little bit (about a tablespoon) of hydrogen peroxide in your ear. Let it bubble and then do the other ear. Also, try taking Advil Cold and Sinus. Hope you feel better!
