Hi there I am so sorry to hear your news.lymphocytic leukemia is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many lymphocytes (white blood cells). The pimple did not turn into the cancer it was already there, it may well have been just a symptom and not a cause. I do hope this helps.

i think a pimple cannot turn into cancer. May be he was alergic to some medicine that was given to him after operation

that has something to do with his lymphatic system i think or it could have something to do with white blood cells, and bone marrow....type it in and check it out.

I've never heard of a pimple being cancerous.
You should call the Dr. back and ask for more specific information & what it was exactly on his forehead & what caused him to die.

lymphocyte (LIM-foh-site) A type of white blood cell. Lymphocytes have a number of roles in the immune system, including the production of antibodies and other substances that fight infections and other diseases.

lymphocytic (LIM-foh-SIH-tik) Referring to lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.

Sorry about your loss.

I agree with the other people about the lymphatic system. If it was cancerous, I doubt it really was a pimple. It probably looked and felt like a pimple, but I don't know why you would have a pimple operated on if it really was a pimple. Call the doctor back and discuss this with them. It is your right to know! I am sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss.

The leukemia or lymphoma your brother had may have manifested itself as a skin lesion or perhaps the "pimple" was a swollen lymph node.

But a pimple does not turn into cancer.

I am very sorry about your brother.
I have never heard of doctors operating on a mere pimple in the hospital, That would be something that maybe a dermatologist would lance in the office, not in hospital. It sounds like from the beginning it was really something else, much more serious.
How old are you? If you are pretty young, maybe your parents didn't tell you the whole story to keep you from worrying too much.
I hope that this does not upset you too much. Lots of parents think that they are helping when they hide sad things from their kids. My parents kept something like this from me when I was about 13. My grandfather lived with us when I was young and he got sick and died. It was only when I was several years older that I found out that he had died of cancer and had been sick with it for several years.

I am so sorry for your loss.
