What are symptoms of high blood sugar and what can you do about it?!

Question: I was just tested for gestational diabetes and don't actually know if I have it yet. I won't find out until next week. In the meantime what are the symptoms if your blood sugar is high and what can I do to help it since I don't have/may not even need insulin? Thanks!!!

Extreme thirst, frequent urination, rapid heart rate, and irritability are some possible symptoms. To try to help to keep yourself from developing gestational diabetes be very careful of your sugary treats (including soda), and carbs. Get out and walk a lot to keep active and moving to help lower blood sugar levels. Good luck.

There are not a lot of symptoms for high blood sugar. I'm told some people can feel it in their eyes.
To lower your blood sugar:
Drink lots of water
Don't eat.
Do some cardo.
Your blood sugar will drop.

thirsty as hell and piss constantly

umm you could google it but not sure if you really do notice it much as far as symptoms go, maybe you might notice if your sugars get really out of wack you could get shaky and weak and anxious.

noting

Here are the symptoms:
Polyphagia (frequently hungry) Blurred vision
Polyuria (frequently urinating) Fatigue
Polydipsia (frequently thirsty) Weight loss
Poor wound healing (cuts, scrapes, etc.)
Dry mouth
Dry or itchy skin
Impotence (male)
Recurrent infections such as vaginal yeast infections, groin rash, or external ear infections (swimmers ear)
If you think you have hyperglycemia then you need to get insulin now. Otherwise you can fall into a diabetic coma.

blurred vision and inability to concentrate are symptomatic of diabetes/high blood sugar - just to name a couple

Unusual thirst. Blurry vision. Woosie. There are pills for this.

Hey. Check this out. This might tell you stuff. OK? Alright?

thirst, frequent urination, blurred vision, weakness, tiredness, dizziness, ypset stomach, an infection, dry itchy skin, fast breathing, hunger even after a high sugar meal and even sometimes there's no symptoms. girl you pregnant you'll be fine!

I don't know who the heck gave hyabusawife and Cynthia thumbs down, but that just goes to show what idiots there are about. They have given precisely the symptoms that are evident in diabetes ... whether that be type 1, type 2, or gestational diabetes.

All of these need to be controlled, particularly during pregnancy as it puts both the mother and child at risk.
