Athlete's foot question?!

Question: We have wood floors throughout our apartment. I have athlete's foot all over my big toe. Do I have to keep socks on in my apartment to avoid spreading it to my husband? Or is it only really contagious in the shower?

Athlete's foot is contagious, but it's more easily spread in damp areas. If you dry your feet carefully after you shower, your hubby probably won't get it, particularly if he does the same.
