Allergies and GERD?!

Question: Can the two together give you a cough? If so what can be done for it?

Yes. It's either that the acid has irritated your throat, or that it has caused your body to produce more mucus which then sticks at the back of your throat.

Make sure you take something every day for the acid reflux, and also try taking allergy medication and/or decongestants to stop the excess mucus production.

Yep. I get it pretty much year round. Avoid foods that are the reflux trigger, and take your meds. I have also found that nose sprays help when it is really bad.
