Can you do anything about scars from acne?!
Question: I had bad acne, but several persricptions cleard it up, but now i have a ton of scars. anything i can do about it? (also my face is pretty red, but i think thats the meds).

i think people do 1) chemical peels (ranging from really strong, at the dermatologist's, to weaker, weekly ones you can do at home) 2) dermabrasion - at derm. this is a mechanical exfoliation of the top layer of skin. SERIOUS exfoliation. Like sandpaper, i think. 3) laser resurfacing. personally i think the fda and docs rushed lasers out to the public, and long term side effects are yet unknown, and doctors are unlikely to report what side effects are known to them (and understood as side effects vs. patients being lazy/bad/crazy).

yes aloe vera definitely helps with the redness, but to prevent any further scarring use a facial sunscreen(Aveeno makes great moisturizer/sunscreen blends...I sware by them) Also try takin a Vitamin C and D capsule once a day.
