Is 99.2 a fever?!

Question: This is not considered a fever, however if it continues, it will be considered a low grade fever, and should be checked out with your Physician. Take a couple of aspirin, and see if it doesn't return to normal, which is 98.6.

No. Your temp isn't considered a fever until it's 100 or over.

I would not consider this a fever. Usually, it needs to be one degree of elevation before it is considered a fever. Some people, however, have low temperatures which is normal for them or higher than normal temperatures which is normal for them. It also depends on how this was taken - rectal is best, oral is next best.

It is a low grade fever. Not to high to really be concerned about. Take some tylenol, it will come down. You should only worry about a fever if it is above 101 and doesn't come down with tylenol.

Yes, it's what's called a low grade temperature.
