Answers: Does it start off looking like small bumps or moles at all?

It depends what type of skin cancer. there are 3 types:
BCC, SCC AND MELANOMA.
Basal cell carcinoma or BCC can be just an itchy patch on your skin that doesn't go away and may even bleed sometimes. SCC or Squamous Cell Carcinoma can be the same but slightly redder and can increase in size and spread to surrounding tissue. MELANOMA is the deadly form and can look like a mole that changes shape or color. Do not delay if you have this. Go and get it checked out.

It can appear as mole like but the edges will be uneven and it will not have the normal round appearance.

go to the web...they actually have pictures for you to look at....
