If I took bee sting shots will I test negative on a skin prick test?!

Question: I took 2 seperate 4 yr long series of bee venom immunotherapy shots. Now I am going to go to the doctors to get a new skin prick test to see whether or not i will still have an allergic reaction. What I need to know is, has anyone ever taken these and then tested negative when they went back for a new skin prick? This is really important as I might not be able to join the army because of this. I know I have been stung since the discontinuation of the immunotherapy , with no serious side effects or anaphalaxis or dieing. So anyone else with this experience??? Any help/answers/advice and or opinions will truly be help. Thank you in advance.

If you have been stung by a bee with no reaction - the therapy has worked.

When you go for the test make sure you mention that to the doctor doing the test.

If you were still allergic you would have had a problem with a real bee sting. The test is just a tiny amount of bee sting toxin, so you should be AOK.

Good luck.
