Have a read of this:

http://www.kidshealth.org/parent/infecti...

Urinary tract infections are almost always caused by bacteria, especially E.coli, which is normally found on the skin around the bottom and comes from the bowels.

In up to 50 per cent of cases, there is some form of structural abnormality that predisposes the person to infection. One of the most common is a condition called vesicoureteric reflux, which affects the way the ureters join the bladder, allowing urine to flow back up towards the kidney.

Other predisposing factors include not going to the toilet often enough (causing the bladder to enlarge), hurrying in the toilet and not emptying the bladder fully, constipation, inflammation of the vulva (girls) or damage to the bladder nerves.

Protecting them too much. Let the germs get to them

Can be bacteria from back passage. The doc will prescribe an antibiotic before it becomes a kidney infection, which is serious. Lots of baths. Drink lots of water to urinate a lot to get rid of the bacteria. Cotton clothes. Buy the little soul wet wipes for cleaning himself, or you do it, if he'll let you.

i had UTI which was due to different soaps i used when i took a bath..tryin stickin to one soap for his bath time or try a new one!! GOOD LUCK!! hope all goes well
