Stomach Problems, I think??!

Question: I have smoked for 5 years and always put my dry mouth and stomach problems down to this.

However i have been experiencing some strange symptoms since I have stopped.

Dizzy spells, anxiety, bloted stomach, depression, fear, total lack of energy.

I have always had to be carefull in what i eat, and I suppose what I drink, beer tends to blot me. Bread also makes me feel dizzy for a short spell. Sugar again has the same effect. All blood tests done, Bp ,

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas??????

I would suggest getting tested for Celiac Disease, an autoimmune disease ini which the patient cannot digest gluten. Beer and bread are major sources of gluten, so if they bother you, that's a good sign it's Celiac.
Blood tests are done for CD but the doc must request the CORRECT ones, and they arent typically done in routine lab work. Go to www.csaceliacs.org to see what to ask for.
Endoscopy is usually done to diagnose Celiac.
The lifelong adherence to the gluten free diet is the only treatment needed should you have Celiac.
Feel free to email me for further help.

Hey,
STOP SMOKING.

Everything you said makes you feel yucky (Beer, Bread, Sugar) could be the cause of it. Maybe you have a gluten intolerance?
