Whats something that has scarred you for life?!
Question: The sad slow death of my mother and the battle it caused wit certain family members. Things will never be the same and neither will I. If I could go back I don't know that I would do anything differently. I don't know if I could. Someday when you are old enough you suddenly look around and realize that all the people you grew up around are dead. The whole generation wiped out. I think about them a lot and I miss them. My world is an emptier place without them. I remember a certain aunt's laugh, another's cooking, an uncle's humor, so many things. All gone. I see the family today and they are not close. So many of the younger generation have problems with drugs, alcohol, other things. The big fun family get togethers are a thing of the past. I often long for those simple times. Family meals, games. Is that scarred enough for you?

My dad being an alcoholic.
i worked in a mall, and right outside of our store this guy was shot, and he died there. i saw the whole thing, it was extremely horrible.
seeing a photo shopped picture of lampray mouths on fingertips.
Military Dr's. They are overly concerned about health issues for the spouses that don't matter, don't treat the real problems, and only care about things that don't matter. (they gave me medications for problems I didn't have, but made me wait for tests for something I knew I had been having for months before giving me the right meds.) They just don't listen.
when i was 11 years old i had a big crush on this boy.(he was 16)
When i got the courage to talk to him and sort of tell him that i liked him, he replied to me: "why don't you go from flat to fluffy with Perl concentrate" (it used to be a famous shampoo commercial in the late 70's) I was so embarrassed because i didn't understand what he meant by that until his brother told me that i had no boobs !
Seeing someone jump off of a building and commit suicide.
Hadn't thought about it for a long time, until you asked.
I was a young teen, in Boston on a holiday trip, and it just happened.
Sad and horrifying.
