Anxiety/depressed/general bad thoughts!!?!


Question: Ive been to the doc's a few times and they said that the way im feeling will pass i just need to focus on different things and be positive. I get stressed alot and atm it feels like im not real and im just drifting thu life and that i dont have a purpose..i also feel tired because i think soo much and my brain wont just switch off/take a break ive been told this is normal from 2 different doc's and ive started walking 5kms every night, i quit smoking i havnt had alcohol since the start of december i dont drink caffeen and i start yoga in 2 weeks.
Is there anything else you could reccomend that could possibly help me feel better?

Ask you doctor to refer you to someone that specializes in anxiety/depression problems. I had the same problem and my doctor sent me to mental health to talk to a person that knows all about what you are feeling, and they know how you are feeling and they can really help. That is a good idea that you don't drink alcohol or caffiene, those are the two worst things that you could use. I know exactly how you feel I was like that also. I hope this helps you. Discuss possible bipolar symptoms w/ a psychiatrist. When you said your brain will not,"switch off/take a break" this could be a manic episode. What you are describing is not normal though.
