Yes it should help reduce acne scars, but it wont clear the acne but it will help it from been reddish. Aloe vera is good for sunburn and freckles.

ive been asking that same question

Have you discussed this with other acne sufferers? I cannot use Aloe Vera as I am allergic to it believe it or not!
It is in many products I broke out in huge hive-like bumps (red) and had to use Calamine lotion on my face for 10 days I was a mess
So try a little on a part of your body that won't show first and see what happens I hope it is okay for you

I hate aloe vera thats in bottles because chemcials take away a lot of its abilities. Buy an aloe vera plant from wallmart & use the gel inside on your face in the nightime after using a cleanser. Aloe vera is best in its all natural form straight from the plant.

about aloe in the linx..

Go to the drugstore and get some neutrogena products. Get the rapid clear cleanser from neutrogena+rapid clear cleansing pads & the rapid clear spot gel. This combination of products do a fantastic job at keeping my face pimple free & even. Buy the aloe vera plant at wallmart & bring it home.

Regime

Wash morning, after school/work, and before bed with the neutrogena cleanser]

Use the pads during the day after sports or dirt jobs

use the spot gel for occasional larger pimple

use the aloe vera at night after cleansing.
ALoe vera has anti bacterial properties which do prevent acne, but i don't think it really treats it as well. In the morning just wash it off & your read to go!

PS yes the aloe vera will help with acne scars. It will brighten them If they are deeper scars then consider getting some sort of stronger chemical regime. Some kind of cream that contains gylocic acid will do the trick such as avene clearance k which you can also get at drugstores.
