What is a normal blood glucose result for a 28 year old medium built woman?!
Question: I am wondering if I ought to call my doc in the morning I took my sugar level at my moms and it was 159 the first time then 166 the second and was wondering if that is high for a 5 foot 11 179 lbs my mom is diabetic and my father is to and alot more of my family has it!!! I was diagnosed with migraines (tension) a few years ago well I have had this same one since christmas it worse at times had shots for it it came right back numbness in head and tinglying and see black specks floating in front of eyes

Not so high you need to panic but there is something to see doc about. If you've caught it early enough you may be able to correct with diet and exercise.
If you wait - permanent damage. See your doc soonest.
If this was afteryou got up and fasted all nite , you are diabetic. Now One good piece of news, if you have been diabetic for less than a year and you get your blood sugar level to normal, you may postpone or it may not come back at all.. One bad think thats not in your favor is family history of diabetes. Good luck Precious. I would not wish Diabetes on my worst enemy.It affect you physically and mentally
