yes, it is very common. you should go to an allergist to get tested just to make sure it is not something else. Honey can harbor spores of Clostridium botulinum, which causes botulism. An adult's intestinal tract is able to prevent the growth of these spores. I am not sure, but maybe your intestinal tract can't handle it. i would just make a call to find out.
