If you are sexually active with her, then you MUST be treated also. Yeast infections are *shared* because the man usually does NOT show symptoms.

She also needs to correct her diet right now. No foods that encourage yeast growth - mushrooms, cheese, milk, ice cream, sugar, beer, wine coolers, ect.

In the meantime, have her take ACV - Apple Cider Vinegar solution. Mix one tablespoon of ACV with one Tablespoon of honey in a glass of warm water. Drink at least three times daily until symptoms are gone. You too.

Tell her eat LOTS of yogurt.

This yeast could be a sign of other serious problems. Does she have diabetes? Often when someone has diabetes they have a lot of yeast infections. It could be that or something else. She needs to ask her physician to test her for other
disease processes.
Eating yogurt helps and you need to be treated as well. Men are usually asymptomatic (without symptoms). This way you will not continue to spread it back and forth.
Good luck!

Monostat - - over the counter.

Avoid 'odor control' panty sprays & powders. These increased the frequency of yeast infections and extended the time you had the infection. Pantyhose and nylon panties interfere with air circulation which also adds (& creates) the problem.

Some women also received yeast infections that were caused by an 'allergy' from douches.

Good old soap & water and cotton undies helps.
