Question: My father has diabetic and thank God that the worst is over. His kidney test is fine but Doc said that he spotted internal bleeding in the eye. More test will be done this week. But does internal eye bleeding will lead to blindness and can it be cured? Thank You.

Yes, it can, but the good news is that it can be controlled at the early stages by laser surgery. This is the least invasive treatment.
But your father will have to be ever vigilent about glucose levels and see the opthamologist on a frequent basis to make sure it is indeed stopped and not happen again.

It can lead to blindness. The cause is most of the time from high blood glucose and, or high blood pressure over an extended time. If these are controlled it will help delay more of the blood vessels from bleeding and maybe even blindness. It really depends on how much damage is already done to the vessels in the eyes.
I will definitely lead to blindness. They can stop bleeding and blind spot floating in the eye. Keep that diabetes under control. My mother went totally blind from these ruptures. Good luck. Maybe change docs. if your doc is not fighting, with a passion to control his sugar

One of the complications of Diabetes is a condition called Retinopathy. The blood vessels in the eye are damaged and the eye grows new blood vessels. The growth of these vessels will push on the retina and that leads to blindness. These new vessels will also bleed. It can be treated with a laser
