Zovirax cream

like Tinkerbell said that stuff works a treat

Abreva is the best way to go it's kind of expensive like $8 a tube at the phramacy but well worth it. It will make the sore dissappear within a couple of dayz instead of the usual two week.s

Perfume on it will take pain away and clear it up quickly.

Tinkerbell is right - it may be pricey but Zovirax is the best thing for a quick result.
Perfume and aftershaves etc... are NOT as effective and they are paintful.
Go to the chemist!

Been using Zovirax for mine, excellent stuff x

zovirax

It will sting, but a little surgical spirit on a cotton wool ball and pressed into the sore and held there for about 5 - 10 minutes - repeat several times during the day and the 'sore' should disappear overnight.

Best option is Zovirax Cold Sore Ointment. This is a true antiviral drug. It works best the earlier you start to apply it, and in any case must be started within 72 hours of the onset of the cold sore. It is available both over the counter and on prescription.

tinklebell best answer!give her the points, that cream will work within acouple of days

seriously....when you feel one commin on....the best thing to do...iz to dry out your lips!!!....get you some hand sanitizer...or rubbing alcohol...and jux use the alcohol or sanitizer on tha infected area...apply with a clean cloth..or clean hands...try and avoid touchin your face if you don't have to!
