Can you have a fever with a cold??!


Question: i feel like a cold might be starting up, and I'm wondering, can you have a fever with a cold?? I usually feel warmer or my temperature rises a little.

I low-grade fever (99.6-100.5) is not all that unusual during a cold. Remember a fever is your bodies way of fighting off an infection. A fever is actually a good thing, believe it or not.

If your temp goes to 101 and higher it is then indicative of a flu or secondary infection such as an ear infection or bronchitis.

I happen to be one of those people who always get a fever when I have a cold.

yes that's why they call it a flu
