Can anyone give me a small research on ill affects of tobbaco and second hand sm!

Question: Second-hand smoke is what smokers exhale and what rises from an idle burning cigarette. You can see smoke in the air but what may not be so obvious is that there are 4,000 chemicals in the smoke.

More than 50 of these chemicals are carcinogens: they cause cancer. The chemicals also contribute directly to other diseases, such as asthma, heart disease and emphysema. And that's for smokers and non-smokers alike.

You can try some internet search engines.

i've smoked for 20 years & cannot quit the habit & i have tried many times

Yes. My dad smoked. My dad died. 46 years old. Pretty convincing.

CANCER

Look it up on the net there is so much of it. If people still smoke and they die it is there own fault and plain stupidity now.

research it on the Internet

breathing problems... cancer (in the long run), black lungs, unhealthy heart, an addiction thats hard to kick... what else... oh it makes you're skin look nasty when your older, makes you age faster (more wrinkles etc), things start to lose taste... and many people will think you smell bad.

My Dad used to smoke when I wasn't even born. He found out it was wrong and quit. Now he's a healthy father who never had lung/ any type of cancer. =)

Hello,
Effects of tobacco,
Dehydration, laxative so going to the bathroom, a anxiety and depression controller. Hard on the lungs (but not everyone gets cancer from it).
Second hand smoke;
They say breathing problems, cancer.

I feel we need to be looking at the pollution from factories and cars etc. . My grand father died of black lung (coal minor) and it did not matter if he smoked a carton a day it still was not going to hurt him any.
We need to do more then tax tobacco and slam smokers. I laugh at those slamming smokers and get into there car to drive off! What hypocrites!!

to get second hand smoke these days is hard it banned in uk in public places smoking its self is addictive smells makes your teeth go yollow finger tips yellow cant run far so no chance of having a jog with your kids so dont bother starting a smoker 46 should just stop selling them

Cigarettes are not what they use to be in the past. There are now over 4000 harmful chemicals in cigarettes such as Ammonia, Acetate (the same thing that causes the stong smell in nail polish remover), tar and Arsenic which is rat poison. Many of the chemicals added to cigarettes are meant to cause the smoker to become addicted. Cigarettes damage the cilia in your throat that helps move pathogens out of your airway, which is the reason why smokers tend to cough so often. Recent research has seen that there is an increasing number of non smokers who did because of prolonged exposure to second hand smoke. Smoking and second hand smoke has been linked to over 50 types of cancers, not only lung cancer. Children exposed to second hand smoke later develop asthma and other breathing problems, heart disease, and higher susceptibility to infections, and and much more, and babies are subject to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). And for men a big problem is that smoking has been linked to impotence. Just a little information, hope it helps.
