Can diabetics take weight loss pills?!

Question: Some of diabetes medications, such as metformin and xanical can cause weight loss. Xanical is indicated for both weight loss and diabetes. However, one major side effect of it is the fact that it causes oily diarrhea and many people stop taking it because of that.

Most other anti-diabetic medications, including insulin, can cause weight gain.

So choosing the right medication for you by your doctor is important.
