Flea bites everywhere, on ankles?!

Question: I get lots of scarring and spots from past flea bites. How do I get rid of them? I have to go swimming at school and it looks like I have some awful skin disease on my ankles. Help!

Also every summer my cat has fleas, and we spray the house, but this year I've been getting lots bites in the winter as well. The fleas just won't die! How do I get rid of them permanently?

~x~ Ohh noo i hate fleas i had that problem last year i have 2 adult kittys, what i did was got frunt line from the vets, flea spray witch you can normaly pick up anywahere, wash all your chair covers/bedding and spray everywhere!! also to get the last of them put down a bowl of hot water in the middle of the room (The heat attracts them so when they jump in they drown!!) Good luck hun and i hope that works for you as well as it did for me ~x~

you need a flea bomb in the house

put borax on your carpet and frontline on the cat

why have cats if they interfere with your social life?
this is a very good reason why i have no animals!!

you can go to your local pharmacy and by swimming socks, which i think go up to your ankle.
i have never worn them before but i have seen others wear them, i think they are for verruca's though

to get rid of fleas, im not sure how. maybe a exterminator

keep ur house cleen &ues repalent before one hrs when u go to sleep and keep ur house door and windows closefrpm 5.pm to 8.00 pm

Your druggist can recommend something to reduce the scar tissue that is available locally. You must rid your pets of the fleas first, them use a bomb like doctor doom to clear the house this means no occupants including pets in the house. Foods should be protected as well from the spray. Make sure you use enough the first time and that it says it will kill the eggs and or larvae of these pests. Don't bring the pets back UNTIL THE HOUSE IS CLEARED. Wash all of the bedding in use as well, fleas are tough and hard to get rid of once they have infested an area

I had this problem once when I move into a house where the previous owner had, had cats.
Your vet will sell a household spray, spray every room, including bedding, human that is, shut each door after spraying. You may have to do this twice, I did. That should deal with your problem. User frontline/programme caplets or similar for flea treatment. Always use the treatment sold buy the vet as those in the shops are not strong enough.

Your scarring, there are scar reducing products available go to the local chemist and get advise from them. If it really is bothering you speak to your G.P..
Good luck.

you will have to get some one in to spray your house, and put the cleaner around quite a lot, especially around the sides of the room,as well as vac the lounge suit and mattress .
it can take a couple of times. plus just before Summer go and buy spot on for the cat.

We had a bad infestation in our basement and we have 3 cats too. I bought like 7 containers of the basic flee carpet killer and i used 2x of the recommend dose and left it for 24 hours. Even in our basement where we had only 1/2 carpet it worked really good. My cats still have them lightly but i haven't got bit since. It may not be safe but it worked for us and it was cheep! I'm sure it would work by the recommend dose but i was desperate. And what is weird about it all is I was the only one in the house getting eaten up and the others never really got bit so much. Its like they pick favorites. They are terrible creatures!
Hope that helps.

Oh yeah, i got the carpet stuff at walmart... It was like gold-something. It smelled like citrus. =)

you must have a infestation. Or consider it could be dust mites/ beg bugs.

EVERYTHING must be thoroghly cleaned... sheets, pillows , blankets... carpet... wash floors... vaccum the heck out of the matress....

Advantix is the BEST ( in my opinion ) for Fleas.. I used to get the collar or the hertz ... but by NO COMPARSIN ... I have not seen a flea since... ( though it is more expensive) .. Try 1800 pet meds.com.... there are things you can get to help rid the house of fleas.. like sprays for furntiure...

Other than getting RID of fleas... There is no way that they will stop biting you... and NO way the marks will go away!
