Need some advice....?!

Question: It all happened at the begining of April 2007. This guy slept with me after i did not want to and after i said no several times. I was afraid that he maybe could have gave me some desease or something. So after three months i went to the local clinic for an HIV test, it was negative, i then asked them if i could donate blood, cuase im a regular blood donor, ok they told me yes i could donate blood. Ok then after another three months i donated blood, i've called the blood services and asked, they confirmed that everything was fine. I did my last blood donation on 14 November 2007, and again they confermed me that everything is fine. I'm feeling very healthy, don't have any weird stuff happening with my private parts etc. I'm engaged and only have one partner, using protection. Do i still have anything to be worried about? Thank you for ur time and answers.

Your HIV test at three months was defintely conclusive, so no - you should not be concerned about HIV.

However, as for other std's; many of them are known to be asymptomatic (meaning no symptoms). There also have been cases of women not being aware of having any std/sti until six months down the road.
The blood service will not check for std/sti's like chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, hpv, etc because those are considered either a bacterial infection not associated with blood or it has to do with skin-to-skin contact (ie: gential warts and blisters). The blood service tests for hep viruses, HIV and Syphilis and probably a couple other communicable diseases within blood.

Honestly, I'm not saying you should worry but I think for your benefit you should go into a clinic like Planned Parenthood, local heath clinic or your doctor's and get an std panel done. Upon request, make sure they test for:
Chlamydia
Gonorrhea
Syphilis
HIV (you don't honestly need)
HPV
Herpes

They will take the blood, urine and/or swab samples needed and you could either have your results within a short period of time or at the latest two weeks.
Many blood donor stations discourage the ideal of donating blood to see if you have any type of disease.

Good Luck!

no, its obvious there is nothing wrong with you.
its been confirmed several time

i don't think so

sorry that happened

Heck yeah, it usually take the HIV disease about seven years to form a destuctive course in your body, so think back five years and wonder. Some blood donor joints check but not 100%. There is such a need for blood that about the time a full check is performed the plasma is spoiled, or someone got their leg cut off recieved it. So don't leave your life up to a free donor site. Be an adult go to your doctor and get the works, you wont be sorry and the guilt will leave for ever, however flip side to that, your man you are with now has be expose to every lover you have had since, and vice versa. So who has he been with in the last seven years.
