Red Swollen Face?!
Question: My wife woke up with a sort of red rash on past of her face on both sides. It also looks pretty swollen. She has not eaten or taken anything that she is allergic to or is sick. Does anyone know what this can be?

has she been around poison ivy ,oak or sulak? Did she use a new soap or lotion? It sounds like contact dermatitis but without seeing her it is impossible to give the right dignosis.
For starters, give her 50 mg of benadryl.That will counteract the histamine response a little bit and then take her to the dr. The reason that you want to get her to the dr is that what if this swelling is inside her as well? inside her throat and her airway is getting comprimised? Do yourself the favor of the benadryl and taking her to the doc. It is either a contact dermatitis or another type of allergic reaction
maybe insects............need the Doc
