There are several risk factors for developing hemorrhoids. By far, the most common reason in developed countries is the lack of fiber in our diets. Most adults consume less than 50% of their recommended daily fiber intake (20-30 gm). The easiest way to increase fiber intake is through vegetables and fruits. If this is impossible, fiber supplements are available. Several studies have shown than mild-moderate hemorrhoids may resolve just with adequate fiber intake. If you have itching/irritation, consider a Sitz bath. This is available at your local pharmacy.

If these conservative treatments do not relieve your symptoms, you should consult your doctor. Surgical treatments may range from minimally invasive treatments to major surgery.

go to Web MD and ask them, they will give ya advice for free

OK, here it is.

Any of the over the counter medications may help. Give them a try.

If they don't help, get one of the prescription treatments from your doctor. They work very well.

If they don't help, ask your doctor to write a prescription for 0.2% nifedipine ointment which your pharmacist has to prepare. It is awesome. If 0.2% doesn't work, ask the doctor for 2%.

One of the biggest things to do to help them heal quickly and prevent them is to increase the fiber in your diet.

prep. h. thats what its for

Go to a gastroenterologist or a protologist. Sometimes they can put medical rubber bands on them and they die from lack of circulation and fall off. Sometimes they do surgery and sometimes creams...depends on where and how big...

let a professional check it out - it could be something else
