Sometimes I get cold sores for no reason. Does this ever happen to you?!
Question: I have been getting them since I was 4 or 5 years old, and I only get them on my lips and sometimes under or on the outer part of my nostrils (where the nose holes are). Sometimes I only get one, sometimes I get a cluster of them. When I was little I'd get them from eating citrus fruits and dill pickles. Now that I am an adult (30 years old) I get them when I am coming down with a cold, stressed or after I have been sick.
However, I haven't experienced any of the above (so I thought) and I woke up with one yesterday, and have two more today. I have noticed that I sometimes get them for no apparent reason. Does this happen to you or do you know why this happens?
