Question: Is it possible to get genetal warts from a sex toy that someone els used a week before i used it? It was my toy and someone els used it and i just found out they used it. Im freeken out because i dont know if they have had genetal warts before. How long can the virus live outside the body?

The virus doesn't live very long outside of the body. How did someone get a hold of your sex toy? You must do a better job of concealing such a device. Besides it had to be somebody you know so ask her(?) At this point, the uncomfortable feeling is out the door. Hopefully she(?) cleaned it after using it. That's just horrid! There are only certain things that are meant to be shared. yes of course after someone uses your sex toys you should wash them with water and soap and then with any antiseptic solution as petadine or chlorine(prefered)
I don't think that is true becuase i have just been diagnosed with genital herpes, and it is basically the same but warts can be cured. Most std's can NOT live OUTSIDE the human body because it feeds off you blood really. But you should was the toys because really itz nasty to use something that someone else has used. You prolly could get some type of infection, but not warts!!!
Yes you can. Genital warts are the most common STD passed from person to person. Throw the toy out and get a new one. Genital warts cannot be cured!!! Outbreaks may only occur occasionally, but the virus still lives in the body.
