Daugther with bone pain?!

Question: My 12 year old daughter is complaining of sever bone pain in her hands, it was so ad last night i took her to the ER they took x rays no broken bones, no lead posioning, and they couldnt tell me what it might be its in both hands and it only happens at night time. She is a good child with no behavioral prblems an honor roll student and the only thing that not right is this pain she is having every night that makes her cry for hours nothing has been helping, asprin, aleve, tylenol etc we have tried what could this be, her doctor says growing pains but i do not believe that what else could it be, they were asking me about her family history since she is a bi-rasical child but i dont know much about her fathers side of the family since he is dead and we have no contact with his family my husband has been raising her since she was 2. Could it be sickle cell or lupus?
Thank you so much

Ask your doctor to run tests for sickle cell and lupus. Also juvenile rhuematoid arthritis. These can be done by blood tests.
It could be growing pain but usually growing pain is in the legs--at points where the muscles and tendons attach to the bone.

I want you to take her to a doctor let them do blood test for all diseases of the bone and joints. No let them do every test known to man. I would like you to go to this conference call tomorrow at 9pm est time. 212-990-8000 pin number 3024. You can ask them any call you like about what you should do and if the product they have will work. God forbid she do have anything please read the things on the site and do your research. Doctor try to help but sometimes products that they have heard can cure they can't use it because they are scared to be sued. Don't give up on her. Contact me at heisablessing@yahoo.com and tell me how everything went? Most of all if you guys try the product tell me how it worked for her.

I'm wondering if she can be getting arthritis at that age?

The checking for Lupus or Juv RA is good suggestion but no sickle cell both parents must be carriers and only African Americans can be carriers.Has she lost weight recently?Any other joint pains?Extreme fatigue? These are some symptoms of RA and RA is considered to be bi laterel in nature, meaning it happens in the same area but opposite side of body.A simple blood test could check for RA or many other types of illnesses.I also was told "growing pains" in knees as child,at the time i was pissed,i hurt bad,but recently read somewhere that there are truly growing pains. To be on safe side take to regular doc and get blood checked, can't hurt and will make you both feel lots better.Besides in ED only thing they say is yes or no and go see your reg doc in the a.m.
