I keep getting colds and respiratory problems. Help!?!

Question: I keep getting colds one after another, at least in the winter time , and all year round (80% of the time) i seem to have some problem with my lungs/chest. I even developed asthma in the last few years which really only truly bugs me when I'm sick or feel that my health is compromised.

What the hell? I don't have HIV or an immune system lowering disease, I don't have cancer, and nothing else that I'm aware of, my blood tests came out normal, YET,

I can't seem to "shake" getting sick all the time.

I also eat very healthy, and take supplements, and have my asthma drugs,

yet I just CANNOT shake getting sick all the time, and can't seem to have my lungs in good health.

They're either always sore, or heavy or slightly asthmatic or something. They're never "Normal" anymore.

Can someone please help me because the doctors say I'm fine, yet I don't feel fine!

I'm sure it's not life-threatning, but I want my comfort level back!

Am I just unlucky? I do go out alot.

I would suspect fungus may be the culprit - do you live/work in an air conditioned building? Is there any mold in your environment? (check around your windows) Do you always seem to be 'stuffed up'? Try using peppermint essential oil instead of antihistamines. Just shake a couple of drops into your hands, rub together and breathe in the aroma. Be careful not to touch your eyes, though! Powerful stuff. It will clear your sinuses beautifully!

Do you use any memory foam products? (they are treated with chemicals which may cause asthmatic reactions)

You may want to eliminate any chemicals in your environment (air fresheners, fabric softeners, household cleaners etc.) and replace them with natural products. Stop by your local health food store and familiarize yourself with the alternatives. It would also be wise to stop using any anti-bacterial products (liquid soap, body wash) as these destroy not only the bad but the good bacteria which is our defense against infection.

There is a wonderful tincture called Respirafect, made by St. Francis Herb farm, which heals the lungs from infection. I don't know if I can give you a website here but if you add dot com to stfrancisherbfarm, you'll find it. If you'd rather find something local, look for an herbal tincture with osha, usnea, echinacea, mullein and licorice. These are all very healing for the lungs.

I've included a website 'source' for much more information if you'd like to take charge of your health. Dr. Mercola is a source of great information. Just type 'asthma' in the search bar and you will have access to the latest, most helpful info. You can also look up the side effects of your asthma meds (and some alternatives) if you like. Good luck! :)

Maybe what you get is not a cold.
Maybe you have allergies? The
symptoms are similar. Have you
asked a doctor about it?
