The smoking ban UK!?!
Question: its got to be one of the best things the government has done, no more breathing in other ppls poisonous gases! why do ppl insist on moaning about it? as i was walking into my local shopping centre today i passed a lady who had to put her cigerette out, she was walking along saying just how ridiculous it was and i just felt like bursting out laughing! if she wants to smoke she could go home and do it anyone agree?

They have a smoking ban in some of the states too! I love it. I completely agree with you. If someone wants to smoke, I don't hold it against them. But if you want to kill yourself and cause a number of health problems, don't involve me!
The smoking ban in Ireland led to more street violence due to fellas standing around outside pubs. Laugh next time a massive fella get punched, falls into You and sends You into the path of a moving car.
i am a smoker living in Scotland so our ban has been going nearly 2 years i think its a really good one to, people don't have to be forced to passive smoke anymore i don't even smoke in my own house now just feels wrong i am soo ready to quit but no will power
Yes, I have enjoyed going to the pub and just generally being in public a whole lot more since the smoking ban. :)
You still driving your car,or travelling by bus,train,aircraft,ship.and think how much they pollute,or all the manufactured good you use.Stone glasshouses throw come to mind.How much pollution did the computer you are using create in its manufacture and use.Ok I see your point but try telling that to the people and children of Chernobyl or the Chinese or any industries.I am a smoker but before the ban would not inflict my habit on other people.At least I do not kill people through drugs or drink,How many people have you affected detrimentally through your actions,Its not a perfect world.I ALSO SPOTTED YOU POSTED THIS IDENTICLE QUESTION TWICE so you also break rules.
I do agree with it (I am a smoker) but I also think that indoor rooms could have been provided instead. Smokers 'stink' when they smoke outside. Plenty of non smokers stink too!
I am a smoker and I realise the ban was made to protect the non smokers however why couldn't they have made all pubs smoking instead seeing as smokers pay
