Fever on and off for a couple of days.....?!
Question: I had a fever last week for 2 1/2 days w/ a monsterous headache that lasted like 7 days. Everything went away and then now I have had a fever again for about 2 1/2 days. Flucuates from about 99.6 to 101.4 and I am having some sinus pressure. Should I call the dr or just let it take its course? I am taking tylenol/motrin for the fever and it helps, until its time to re-dose. By the way I am a 31 yr old otherwise healthy female.

The headache is probably caused by your fever and the general infective process. Keep your fluids up to avoid dehydration (which will also cause a headache), take the pain relief regularly as ordered on the packet, and get as much rest as possible. Tylenol or aspirin are best to reduce fever and cover the pain. If you don't get any better soon, or your symptoms get worse, see a doctor, as it might be a bacterial infection that requires antibiotic treatment.

I've been getting exactly the same I've had the headache return since midday today I can't shift it I really don't know what's going on with this I've taken ibuprofen tonight an normally that sorts things out but not this.
