What are the chances of spreading oral herpes through kissing?!

Question: If I do not have any visible cold sores, how much of a chance is there of spreading the disease to my girlfriend if we kiss and exchange saliva? What if we don't exchange saliva? How big is the chance if I don't have any visible cold sores?

if you have an active blister then you would be in the shedding phase and yes you can definitely 100% transmit it if you kiss her so avoid contact at if the sore is active.

but if the sore is scab-like most likely the shedding phase is over and there is a low chance of transmission

if you have no sore on your lip at all the chances are slim to none. usually none. (genital herpes is a different scenario transmission is still possible with no blisters)

Put a plastic bag over your head before you kiss her, like a face condom.

That's pretty much the best way to spread oral herpes.

Most germs and viruses thrive in warm moist places. Yours and every human being's mouth is a breeding ground for bacteria and germs and viruses. In fact, the mouth is probably the dirtiest place in the body next to the rear end.

The monitor lizard is known for its killing a pray by simply chewing or biting it because of the harmful bacteria located in their mouth.
