Why do I get the same itch inthe same spot?!
Question: Every day at least once, sometimes twice in the same day, I get an itch on my back. right below my left shoulder blade. Of course it is int he spot I can't reach, but what I am wondering is does it mean anything that it is in the same spot?

I also have the itch in the same spot... right below my right shoulder blade... a nerve thing. I have had it for almost 10 years now, it gets worse as the years go by. I had the shingles in that area when it first started. I read a lot about it... it may be something called Notalgia Paresthetica. You may want to read about it and see if it sounds like what you are feeling.
It doesnt mean anything its just an itch.

Well, there are many reasons why you could have an itch in the same spot. A lot of skin irritation occurs when your skin is too dry. I would recommend drinking lots of water everyday and using moisturizer on the spot where it itches. Also, I am not trying to scare you but I would recommend that, if at all possible, get someone else to look at the spot where it itches. A lot of the times the same spot itches because of a wound that has scabbed. Do you have a scab in that spot? If you irritation continues to worsen or stay the same after all the above tips them I would recommend seeing a dermatologist.
probably you're getting some reaction from the shampoo or soap you're using--try changing that
it happens some time the reason is so much dryness at taht spot. Some time when you are using too much warm clothing it happens. As its a cold weather and skin gets dry more often you need a good moisturizing lotion. often male think they dont need anything but you guies do too. try Gold Bond (ultimate healing-Aloe) its 7.99$ but its so good and it has no girly smell so use it everything will be ok.
dont worry about the same spot, you r perfectly alright
