Question about chest congestion?!
Question: I feel like my chest is congested and I have an occasional cough that is occasionally phlegmy but I don't really feel sick. I had a cold about two weeks ago that lasted about 10 days, and then suddenly seemed to go away. I'm concerened that maybe some infection developed from that cold and I am just now seeing symptoms...is that possible?

it is possible, the cold u described looked viral(as most coomon colds are). but beneath this viral assault there always is a poosibility of developing secondary bacterial infection.
but if u donot have fever, or throat pain or soreness
i suggest u not to go on antibiotics
just use salt gargling and hot lemon tea to relieve the congestion
but if u develop fever, headache and yellow coloured phlegm
there is a strong possibility of an infection...u should get urself checked and treated
When it's cold and damp you can have a lingering cough that goes on for weeks. You might want to check with the doctor to rule out a secondary infection. If you feel OK otherwise, it will probably go away in a week or so.
