Answers: when theyre sugar is up and down does it mess with their thinking process???

It impacts the brain or nerve center, which derives almost all of its energy from glucose. The brain depends on the bloodstream for a continuous supply of glucose because it can only store a few minutes' worth of energy as glycogen. Any change in blood glucose levels can quickly and seriously affect thinking and coordination.

The brain relies heavily on warning signals generated by the central nervous system as the blood sugar drops. Signals like sweating and shaking are produced by the release of stress hormones in a process called glucose counterregulation. This release starts the slow return of the blood sugar to the normal range. The liver, interestingly, is directly involved as well in sensing and correcting low blood sugars.

Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia) can cause confusion and disorientation.

definitely

When my sugar drops below 4 i shake real badand feel faint and you cant really think or concentrate you just get craving to eat lots of sweets lol

yes it does,, very much,,
when my sugar is too low i can;t think at all, i get really confused ,, and when its too high i can;t think cause am too jettery

Yup! If my sugar crashes, I can't think of anything but shoving food in my mouth. If it's too high, I can't think because I'm so tired all I want is to fall face down in my bed and sleep for days. My jitters come from low blood sugar.

you had better believe it

yes.

i sat a GCSE exam (british btw) earlier and was low all the way through it and could not concentrate.
simply for the fact the blood pressure in my head was too low,
same as when its too high i can't concentrate becasue the blood pressure is too high in my head.

its **** but we have to live with it.
