Is primatene safe for short term use?!
Question: I can't get my albuterol refilled because my pharmacy is not where I am visiting, and I don't want to deal with switching pharms when I am going home in a few days. I bought a primatene mist inhaler and am wondering if it is ok to use that for the next few days untill I get home? I had ment to pack albuterol refills, but somehoww forgot...

Primatene isn't good for any use and should be taken off the market-I suggest going to a local walk-in clinic and getting a quick refill or calling your home pharmacy and getting them to call the pharmacy close to where you are for a refill. You should never go far without your inhaler, even if you have infrequent attacks.
I had this same problem before and I will never go through it again!
