How do i tell if i have lice or dandruff?!
Question: I had my mom check my head and she couldnt tell if it was moving so she picked off a piece and it didnt move it was kinda flaky like dandruff but im still worried

Get a 100 watt lightbulb, a hairpick or fine-toothed comb and a magnifying glass. The lice themselves are not white; the eggs (called nits) are not always white but will turn white after the lice hatch. The nits are glued onto the hair shaft at an angle, so if you try flick the white particle off the hair and it doesn't move, it's possibly a nit but don't freak out yet. if your still worried get a lice treatment shampoo and wash your hair with it. them use lots of hairspray to kill them.
When you kill lice, you get black on you.. and a lice bites into your head so it'll leave like red marks (but dont think like that too quick, sometimes itchy heads can cause you to scratch yourself, bleeding). Dandruff = a lot of whtie stuff on your head that comes off, lice doesn't necessarily make dandruff so.. yeah. GL

The best way is to have your doctor (or another health professional) check, but dandruff will shake off and lice hangs on, even if you try to pull them off.
When u pull off a lice egg... try squishing it between ur thumb nails ( on the nails facing each other and squeeze) If u hear a POP.. It was aLIVE .. and it was a lice egg... if u try a few and there is no pop.. its dandurff...
Also u can blow at dandruff and it usually moves... blow an egg and it stays put.. u actually have to PULL the egg off the hair...
Check if the egg is clear... the egg hatched... if it is bigger and brown.. theres a baby lice in it .. .squish immedately to kill the larve!!!
