Is it true that drinking cayenne pepper can help ease asthma?!

Question: If so, what can you mix it with and how does it taste?!

Answers: If so, what can you mix it with and how does it taste?!

Never heard that but I am going to try that diet tomorrow for 2 weeks if i last that long consists of a
glass of water
1 tsp maple syrup
squeeze of lemon or lime
shake of cayenne pepper
mix together and drink
Jude from century radio is trying it.
It has all you need in it so it is ok to do but probably taste awful.Watch this space!!! lol

That sounds like a crazy kind of a thing to do. I hear that Oil of Oregano is of the best things for all ailments

I have no idea if it helps with astma , but if it does , watch out cayenne pepper you buy in most shops is heavily cut. usually with paprika powder ans cumin . since pure cayenne pepper is pretty costly..

I know scotch bonnet peppers help with some stomach conditions...

Thats a new one for me never heard of that one.

Couldn't resist this. I'm sure it would take your breath away. No offence intended.

NO it will make it worse. People with asthma have more reactive airways, so you will overreact to a chemical in the pepper.

Quick answer NO!

asthma symptoms are caused by narrowing of your airways so if drinking cayenne pepper relaxes your pulmonary muscles then perhaps it might help... other wise stick to bronchodilators like ventolin and other commonly prescribed inhalers...
