Question: I have a diagnoses of Epstein Barr Virus and am wondering if it is the same as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) There are not any medical tests available to support true evidence of the CFS but there is for EBV. It seems to be the same, especially with my symptoms. Does anyone have any info?

I have heard from many people whose mono and/or EBV turned into the chronic illness called CFIDS. I ahve not ehard that they are one and the same. However, my daughter had Epstein-Barr Virus and what I DO know about it is that it can 'turn into' Mononucleosis. And that would be bad, since it takes over 3 weeks to get rid of and is very contagious. Her Epstein-Barr went away after about a month and she is back to normal. It was a very bad month though. I hope you feel better soon.
