Heart question?!

Question: i have heart palpitations
HAVE had heart pains no days too
and sharp pains in left side of head and right
i told my docs n cardiologist and had tests
i just forgot to say an important thing!!

The tingly feeling i've had in BOTH arms three times since i've had palps the past year, and ONCE i had it in just my left arm so four times in total
WHAT is that?
I asked about this before on yahoo answers and some one said it was normally the sign of a heart attack about to happen or a sign of an oncoming one..
is this true?
i need to know what it actually is so..

You should go back and see your doctor, tell him what you forgot last time and explain it is worrying you. It is not necessarily a heart attack impending, but needs to be checked out. No one on here can diagnose a heart problem, only a specialist can do that. Good luck and see your doctor tomorrow.

It could be many things including a heart attack, but just go baclk to docs and tell him no one else can help.

The classic signs of a heart attack are sternal (chest) pressure that radiates into the neck and/or down the left arm, nausea, lightheadedness. The chest pressure people describe is "like an elephant sitting on my chest".

There are also signs of a heart attack that are not typical, jaw pain, tooth pain, pain in the upper back, nagging heartburn or indigestion, right arm pain, or just a general sense of "something's not right".

Tingly feelings in your arms sounds more like a pinched nerve. But do mention your symptoms to your cardiologist.

do yo u have a walk in center you can go to and get checked out if your worrying this much you can make your self worse so do yourself a favour and either go to the walk in center or get the hospital and get checked out .i had angina now for 14 years.

have you sean a cardiologist if so go see your doctor again and ask for a MRI scan to see if anything else is going on sounds more like hi presser

I have been receiving treatment for heart disease since about 2001. Often you do 'not feel right'. I get angina in my neck, and sometimes slight chest pain, which I call the fish hook, for reasons you will realise if you get it. This is a chronic condition. My doctors are sanguine about it. Heart pharmacology is a huge business and there are many medications you can take to relieve it. Always stay close, metaphorically speaking, to your doc, though I have to say I prefer the nurses, heh heh, and make sure you monitor your blood pressure closely. Take a 75 mg aspirin each day anyway. Until they sort out your meds, keep nagging them. Welcome to my world. You will find you worry less and less and everybody else down the clinic has the same dark sense of humour.
