I am a type 1 diabetic, 33 yrs old. Humalog and Lantus insulins daily.

The best way to improve your circulation is to control your blood glucose!!! Keep eating right, check your sugar and take your medicine. I am a nurse and have seen many double amputees who are blind and on hemodialysis because they were in denial about being diabetic or just didn't care to take care of themselves. (And some are young and were embarrassed about being diabetic, so they were non compliant with their meds.) So just take your medicine, control your glucose level, eat right, exercise and live your life.
It is hard being so young and having to deal with this lifetime disease. But you can control your diabetes instead of letting it control you!!

And check with your doctor about that Aspirin before you start taking it!!

Asprin will thin your blood out and you don't want to have blood so thin that you cant give blood for testing. Exercise helps with blood circulation and as a diabetic you need to keep your weight down to maintain blood sugar.

I am a type one diabetic. I have been diabetic for twenty three years and I beleive the best way to improve blood circulation is:

Control your bloodsugars

Stay fit-be physically active

Eat right

Bad circulation in your legs, feet and hands are main areas for diabetics. I suggest taking the time to walk for a half hour a day. Make sure you are not wearing tight socks, or socks that get tight at your ankles. Make sure your shoes are not tied too tight. At night don't wear socks, let your skin breath. In the winter dress extra warm, in the summer dress extra cool.

Eat a good diet, pay attention to serving sizes, carbs, and natural sugars. Stay away from soda, but try to drink one serving of whole milk a day. Drink a good amount of water.

Make sure you are monitoring your bloodsugars and taking the right amount of insulin when you need it.

Basically live healthily-Diabetic or not!!
