-Your appendix is in the right lower Quadrant of your abdomen, and that is where the pain would be. The pain would be very specific to the appendix location. Not necessarily excruciating. And you'd find it next to impossible to lift your right leg while laying down. -Your stomach is above the belly button, just below the rib cage, and pain in your stomach is also very area specific. -Gall bladder is in your right upper quadrant. Gall bladder attacks often follow a fatty meal. Pain from that can radiate to your left shoulder. If anything has ruptured, your temperature would go very high, and your pulse would be greatly elevated. If you are generally healthy, I'd have to guess you have a bit of gastroenteritis (or something to that effect). Stick to fluids, and crackers. Stay away from spicy or junk food. Good luck. If it were something really bad, you'd have no doubt that your case were emergent.

A ruptured appendix is generally agonisingly painful, though I did meet a patient who didn't seem to have too much pain when it happened to hear. Appendix pain tends to be in the groin region. You could have what is called an irritable appendix, don't know quite what that means, but it tends to be reaccuring. Or, you might have an inflamed appendix. You could also have a virus. I'm certain I haven't got appendix but this week I've been feeling sick and have thrown up. Viruses can cause tenderness of the gut as well as appendicitis. Best advise is to go to your Dr and tell them what's happening and how long it's been going on for. Best Wishes, hope your better soon.
