There is no real treatment available for this but, some Dr.'s are using aciclovir with good results. Other dr.'s only treat the symtoms with steroids, antihistamines etc.
Avoid drying agents like soap etc. That will aggravate this condition. The rash generally goes away in about 6 weeks. GL
