Will wearing ear plugs every night cause any future problems?!

Question: it could do consult your doctor if you have to use them regularly,I worked for years in a noisy factory (motor) and now I suffer from dry ears have to have special cream,still I'm not deaf,take care good luck.

my grandmother wears earplugs every night and it's gotten to the point she can't sleep without them. She's 72 years old and completely healthy!. =].

i used to do that when i did shift work, i cant think of any long term effects but you should know that we loose heat through our ears and i can remember waking up in a pool of sweat quite often.
