Have any of you ever got this ringworm thing from swimming in dirty water?!

Question: I have but forgoten most of it.But it was gone years ago so i've never gone swimming again ever since that thing came up on my chest,all due to filthy water in the pool.By the way has anyone else had this kind of infection dued to swimming.

As far as I know ringworm isn't actually a "worm" but a skin fungus. I'm not entirely sure how it's contracted.
