no it is a medical condition. i got on diabetes because of having diabetes for over 26 years. i lost my left leg. but diabetes can be controlled and a person can live a normal life
. i meant that i had diabetes for 26 years and that is not the reason i am on disability i got on disability because i lost my leg due to diabetes.

If you are a "bad" diabetic, meaning your having a very hard time controlling your sugar level, then it's possible.

Diabetics with uncontrolled sugar can pass out, have seizures, kidney failure, wounds that won't heal and blindness among the complications.

no is not ..my boyfriend and sister in law have diabetes they dont get checks .
