How bad is a TSH result of 20?!
Question: I had my thyroid taken out 5 years ago but the Dr. left 5% of it in. I'm on 112 mcgs of thyroid medication and have been fine until now. I feel like crap. What could have cause such a drastic drop? I'm not pregnant.

The most common cause of this abrupt change is the interaction of some other drugs that you might have taken. something like antiacid, antidepression and so on. Even foods with different acidity could cause the problem. corn flakes can wrap around the pill and stop its release till few hours later.
