A burning rash?!

Question: Does anyone know what could cause a burning rash on my arms?
It's light red and it burns and hurts off and on.
It has also caused a few small pustules that have appeared and disappeared.
I had a doctor look at it and he said that it did not look like a staph infection or melanoma, but as I have no insurance - I had to pay cash - I can not afford to have any tests run on it.
Could the doctor be wrong?
What else could it be?
It does not itch, therefore I think it is probably not an allergy.

Try the diagnose my skin rash source below.

syphlis

go to a dermotoligist, they are not expensive, visits are like 60-80 dollars, tests can run higher, but its your skin, what people see first you dont want to be all scared up. Take care of yourself, anyway most all doctors let you pay them out as long as you pay some up front.

Any kind of poison, like poison ivy or poison oak.

Once I got kind of what you described as an allergic reaction to Lime Away bathroom cleaner - I cleaned my bathtub with it, then took a shower and my feet got red, itchy, pustules. It later showed up on my hands and wrists.

I think it is an allergic reaction to something - have you been lifting dusty boxes or pine trees lately? They can cause that type of rash.
